The future in the OR has already begun. Using EIZO’s IP-based OR infrastructure, you can already intelligently link various devices and technologies. EIZO CuratOR Alipe expands the CuratOR portfolio with a standardized, modular, expandable network solution that ensures the transmission of various data without discernible delay. Even over wide distances.
CuratOR Alipe is flexibly scalable – new components can simply be added as needed using plug and play.
Connecting modalities, even through various interfaces
Everything via a network connection: Video, Audio, Control (device, keyboard and mouse control)
Image signals from room cameras and light-mounted camera
Everything is possible: Turn light on, off or dim, pan and zoom camera
IP-based devices can be connected directly to the network
Transmissions to distant rooms for training classes and conferences or streaming to remote locations for connected health applications.
Recording and archiving of images and video data
Seamless integration of hospital information systems
Multiple images on a monitor via one cable: e.g. Side-by-Side, Picture-in-Picture, QuadView
Every image available everywhere at all times
Connection to every server and every modality
System operation using the Caliop control software
Information exchange, consultation, and training – communication can even be external
The standardized network interface simplifies the integration of mobile systems
IP-based data transmission enables the use of the same network cables for the transmission of all information, regardless of whether image, audio, video, or control data, for example, for keyboard and mouse. Thus for example, a computer in a remote computing center can be operating via the EIZO system directly from OR.
The Alipe IP Transceiver can be used as an encoder and decoder. The connector functionality parameters are set through the software. The number of devices and versions can thus be reduced. This simplifies installation and saves on time and labor costs associated with storage and maintenance of the entire system.
The IP Transceivers are backwards compatible with each other. This makes integration scalable and cost-efficient. For example, existing installations can be extended with the appropriate IP Transceivers to support 4K modalities.
The data are transmitted via fiber-optic cable, making transmission lengths up to 10 km possible. As a result, not only rooms, but whole buildings, can be linked to one another, and image and audio data can be transmitted not only within the OR, but also for example to conference rooms and lecture halls as well.
Integrated Video Management: Various video sources can be displayed simultaneously on a screen using a single cable to enable various multiple views, e.g. Side-by-Side, Picture-in-Picture, QuadView.

A network based infrastructure means infinite flexibility in the hospital and beyond: All data are always available everywhere. The EIZO Alipe System is scalable and modular and therefore flexible with regard to future enhancements.
The IP Transceiver can be used as an encoder and decoder. The connector functionality parameters are set through the software. The number of devices and versions can thus be reduced. In addition, planning can be more flexible and storage and maintenance expenditures can be lowered.
The IP-Transceiver allow for a transmission speed of up to 10 Gbit/s as well as image transmission up to 4K UHD / full HD resolution at a frame rate of 60 Hz / 30 Hz, depending on the model type. The devices achieve this without compression, ensuring optimum image quality.
Images are transmitted without any visual delay, offering a seamless hand-eye coordination experience for the attending physician. He/she receives direct visual response to his/her actions, for example during endoscopic interventions.
Up to two video links can be processed concurrently with one TIP0410. This means that one of video interfaces can be used as the input, and another interface as the output, at the same time. The connected video signal can also be lopped back through the output interface.
Various video sources can be displayed simultaneously on a screen using a single cable. This enables various multiple views: e.g. Side-by-Side, Picture-in-Picture, and QuadView.
IP-based data transmission enables the use of the same network cables for the transmission of all information, whether image, audio, video, or control of a keyboard and mouse. For example, a computer in a remote computing center can be operating via the EIZO system directly from OR.
The IP Transceiver work with passive cooling, making them silent and free of mechanical wear. This also minimizes distortion to the laminar flow in the OR and prevents the disposal of dust particles and bacteria.
